Mind Over Matter Train Your Brain

So many of us struggle with memory retention, memory loss, and ADHD is it all in the mind? They are usually attributed to our chaotic lives, which are filled with stress and pressure, causing our bodies to enter a state of shutdown.

Your Mind Can Be Fixed

The great news is that new technologies are being released. These technologies use neurofeedback directly from the brain. This neurofeedback process, known as Brain Mapping, can pinpoint areas of the brain that are not functioning optimally, which would be cause for concern. Through a Brain map, technicians can assemble a brain training program to target these areas and stimulate normal brain function. Proving that your mind can be changed despite emotional behaviours.

How Can You Improve Your Memory?

It is important to treat this as a progressive plan. Start with the first step and then add one more idea each day to help improve your memory.

  • Focus on what you want to remember. Think deliberately and process your thoughts. This makes recalling information easier.

  • Create a visual image. To remember a name, picture an object linked to that person.

  • Use an acronym. Take the first letters of items to form a word—for example, MOST for Milk, Oranges, Soap, Toilet paper.

  • Write it down. Even if you never look at your notes, the act of writing helps your brain retain details.

  • Make a rhyme. Just as you learned the alphabet with a song, set appointments or lists to a simple rhyme.

  • Exercise your brain. Play brain‑training games or use self‑help sites to stretch your mental muscles.

  • Be vigilant with routines. Establish daily habits to reduce mental clutter and free up space for what truly matters.

Always consult a healthcare practitioner for a comprehensive analysis of your body and the potential causes of memory loss to properly understand your unique case.
